Programme Objectives

The PGDM program prepares a student for a domestics and global careers in diverse sectors of the industry. The PGDM program facilitates learning in theory and practice of different functional areas of management and equips the students with an integrated approach to various functions of management. However, the demand for managerial skills is not limited to the industry. Managerial talent is much sought by the Government Sector, NGOs, non-corporate sector as well. Institutes, Faculty and Students need to move away from the excessive focus on industry and look at needs and demands of broader sections of the society. Likewise entrepreneurial perspective of job and wealth creation with a social context also needs to be integrated into various aspects of the program.

Specifically the objectives of the PGDM Program are:

Eligibility & Admission Procedure

  1. Admission to PGDM Institutions shall be made only from the candidate from any one of the six all India tests i.e. (CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT) or the common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective State Governments.
  2. Weightage score in any one of the six India tests. i.e. (CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT) or the common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective State Governments. :- 35 to 60%
  3. Weightage score for the academic performance in X Std. , XII Std., Under Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Degree :– 5 to 25%
  4. Weightage for the group discussion/interview :- 20 to 45%
  5. Weightage for the participation in Sports, Extra-Curricular activities, Academic diversity and Gender diversity :– 5 to 20 %
