Program Overview

IIBR’s PGDM program prepares you to work for one of India’s largest employers- the agricultural sector. Agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy, and to make it even stronger and more profitable, we need individuals who are committed to engineering the agribusiness revolution.
During our full-time PGDM program, you will learn the fundamentals of economics, management, marketing, and finance—while learning how these fields apply to the world of agriculture. Our experienced faculty will provide you with a detailed understanding of the manufacturing, distribution, storage, and marketing of agricultural commodities. Furthermore, you’ll learn about the latest advances in technology that have advanced the field of agriculture.

Programme Objectives

The PGDM curriculum of IIBR caters to the growing demand for skilled employees in global business houses. The curriculum has been effectively supplemented by additional programs to create leaders in all sectors of the Agri-Business sector. We aim to equip our students with a thorough understanding of manufacturing, rural marketing, retail management, finance, and supply chain management. By the end of our PGDM program, students will possess a high level of decision-making skills and domain expertise to go out confidently in the demanding world of Agri-Business Management.


Eligibility & Admission Procedure

Eligibility :
Any graduate from a recognized university with at least 50% marks for general candidates and 45% marks for SC/ ST candidates in graduation. Preference will be given to students having Bachelors’ Degree in Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Science/ Technology, Horticulture, etc.
Admission Procedure:
Candidates can apply online or download the application form from the website and send the same duly filled in paying an application fee of Rs. 1000/-. Candidates applying to the institute directly will have to submit their 10th, 12th, Graduation mark sheet, entrance exam score card, & photo ID proof either by email, by post or in person. Once the documents are verified, the students will have to appear for the personal interview. On being selected, the candidate may take admission within the stipulated date by paying the tuition fees and submitting the relevant documents in original.

ASM’s IIBR was a result of MCCIA’s foresight & efforts to provide managerial education at a postgraduate level of global standards. MCCIA’s team of experts helped us design the syllabus to ensure students can learn what the industry wants.
MCCIA provides support to the ASM’s IIBR students in final placements & in internships through its 3000+ industry members.
The foreign visit of the students is coordinated with the support of MCCIA. Top officials of MCCIA accompany the student delegation to meetings with foreign ambassadors at the chamber of commerce and industries abroad.
